About the Author

Tim Vorhoff is passionate about owner-led exits, business-sale readiness, and the real-economy challenges facing America’s mid-market, family-run companies. As the Senior Vice President and Founding Partner of CreoValo, he is dedicated to helping business owners navigate the most consequential financial event of their lives. By creating an education-first pathway to selling a company—built on transparency, competitive rigor, and a commitment to founder advocacy—Tim helps bridge the gap between complex market behaviors and what owners actually need to succeed. Under his leadership, CreoValo aims to bring professional clarity to an opaque marketplace by giving business owners a strategic framework for exiting on their terms and pursuing the full market potential of what they’ve built.

Professional Background

Tim began his career at Evercore, where he supported the execution of complex transactions and observed how world-class buyers prepare, price, and negotiate. He later transitioned to engaging with business owners and entrepreneurs across HVAC, roofing, construction, manufacturing, restoration, and other essential industries. These conversations gave Tim a firsthand perspective on why many founders may be underprepared to sell their business, the risks they face in the market, and the significant value that can be lost due to a lack of early preparation and proper process.

Mission & Impact

These insights led Tim to write Exit Right: How to Sell Your Company, a strategic guide designed to educate owners before they enter the market. Today, CreoValo partners with mission-aligned professionals, wealth advisors, and banking teams to help business owners evaluate their options, understand their leverage, and pursue exits that honor their life’s work. Through this framework, Tim has helped owners prepare for meaningful outcomes across the service, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.

A graduate of the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, Tim brings both institutional expertise and a personal commitment to the families he serves.
